wk 20 - T=TWO Craft Colouring challenge with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolour pencils

Welcome back to a new challenge...
Our lovely challenge is here to help inspire you to try out Lyra Rembrandt Polycolour pencils - if you've never tried these amazingly lush pencils then check out all the links at the top of the page to find out more. They are top quality pencils which need minimum blending - if you're a Polychomo/Prisma fan you really need to check them out because we have all switched from those brands because we find Lyra's much faster to work with, easier to blend and superb colours and lightfastness that is superior to most of the others on the market - and they're an amazing price too!

Our challenge today is

T = TWO

2 colours, so black and white, pink & green etc

We want to see lots of summery lovely pretty colours, whichever you like, it's up to you!
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO USE OUR PRODUCTS TO ENTER
You can enter the challenge with ANY project you like as long as you
have coloured an image with ANY medium  (pencils, markers, inks, paints, whatever you like).
Remember you can only enter twice!
CLOSING DATE: SAT 4 JUNE AT NOON GMT - WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON THE FOLLOWING POST....

This week we are very kindly sponsored by the fabulous

Make sure you head over to the lovely Polkadoodles store and grab some goodies!
Our random winner of this challenge will receive a generous digi voucher for £8 of downloads from the store!

For the Design Team's Challenge we made it a little bit trickier this week. The DT Challenge was
T = TERTIARY
Do you ever look at a colour wheel? They really are very helpful at taking the guesswork from which colours work together and as you can see from the wheel below, when you choose colours from the same family they will always work...

So the DT were asked to use Tertiary colours.
Now our lovely team is a little thin on the ground right now as we have a few illnesses so if you already own Lyra Rembrandt Polycolour pencils and would like to be a Guest Designer for us for a few weeks EMAIL US here.

Scatty Jan  Two makes from me this week for my first I used the lovely Oddella with bag this week , she is from our lovely sponsor Polkadoodles and you can find her here. My colour choice was Pinks/Purples and I think the colours suited her. The Paper, Butterfly and dragonflies were also from our sponsor they were from the Dollie Daydream goes East collection

The colours used are
Skin 30, 31, 32, 92, 94
Pinks 21, 24, 27, 29, 93, 94
Purple - 34, 36, 41, 94

For my second creation I have used the wonderful butterfly from Polkadoodles, it can be found on the Winnie Fruit Punch collection. The papers again from Polkadoodles  Dollie Daydream goes East collection

The colours used are
Pinks 21, 24, 27, 29, 93, 94
Purple - 34, 36, 41, 94
I then sprayed lightly over with iridescent spray and sparkle was a little worried how it would dry over the pencils but it dried fab! and gave the butterfly a wonderful sparkle

Jane – I have tried to use ALL the tertiary colours from the colour wheel on my project this week. J My image is an amalgamation of several individual digis from the gorgeous POLKADOODLES MAGIC GARDEN CD COLLECTION.  I manipulated them in Craft Artist to create a complete picture.
Colours used:
Red Orange: 17, 18 – Yellow Orange: 8, 9
Yellow Green: 70, 71 – Blue Green: 56, 53, 58, 54
Blue Violet: 41, 37 – Red Violet: 92, 93, 35
Greys: 98, 96, 95

Gorgeous makes this week from Jane and Jan, thanks to them for keeping the inspiration coming!
